30 days to go!!!

wow, 30 days, thats like this month! 3 weekends is my b'day and my birthday/going away party. then its on the final stretch. wow! I hadn;t realised it was so close! I'm getting excited now!!
I had a face to face meeting today in the city with the lady from one of the agencies i am using to get work over there. She was very nice. I had already had all my paperwork done, so we just chatted for an hour. She made me feel at ease and I am now pretty confident about the whole thing. She said that one of the ladies who rang me to book in an interview for over in UK left a note about the fone chat "arriving 1st august, getting car first up, prefers yonger age group, supply at first and later long term positions, sounds lovely". awwww, i sound lovely! How sweet!
I had my last day at work yesterday (excluding the week of vacation care which is casual and noone knows me, so they wont miss me when I go). The kids made me cry. Bastards! I am SO not a cryer about things like this, but especially because it was the kids who i have known the longest, and because they are older (generally) so can chat to me more one to one. We had a party lunch (OMG... i have never seen little kids eat so much and not explode) and then they gave me a card with their pictures of me, or their names inside, and then they sang this song which goes "skidamarinkidinkidink, skidamarinkidoo, i love you. skidamarinkidinkidink, skidamarinkidoo, i love you. i love you in the morning, and in the afternoon, i love you in the evening and underneath the moon. OH skidamarinkidinkidink, skidamarinkidoo, i love you." and when they saied 'i love you' they pointed to me. and I was fighting to hold it all together, because the kids gets freaked out when an adult cries. But then one of the mums was crying, cos it was so lovely, and she is sooper emotional, and she pushed me over the edge. So i had a little cry.
I had my farewell dinner for work last night. It was good. Went from being 10 to being 7, but it was still good. (and the 3 thats didnt come, 2 i wasnt fussed about! 1 i would have liked to have been there). It was like goodbye but not, because I am going back the week after next to be in the school fotos, as requested by the parents, and then the other 3 i will see at vacation care on the excursion on thursday. So yeah, wasn't that sad.
Anyways, I have a lady coming to look at the car tomorrow at 10am (finger's crossed), then going into the city with friends to ook at backpackers packs, so I should go to bed now, its WAY past my bedtime! I got carried away at a friend's birthday party making mystery concoctions out of eft over food scraps and disolving 21 packs of sugar into some lemon squash (and it tasted thick and syrupy if you ust kn0w). So, anyways, goodnight, until 10 days time...
